Hi there! I'm Roxy Seligman. I first obtained my real estate license in Dallas, Texas in the eighties. After three days I decided that I didn't want to grow up to be like any of those women in my office and I went on to other career pursuits. About six years ago, I looked into the mirror and was mortified and exclaimed, "Oh my goodness! I look like a Realtor!" (I guess I didn't think I would ever look older!). I am thrilled to be working as a Realtor now. . . especially in the MOST WONDERFUL TOWN with the FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE, on the MOST BEAUTIFUL ISLAND in the BEST COUNTRY in the WORLD and for the BEST REAL ESTATE COMPANY! It's a GOOD LIFE!!!
The thing I most enjoy is helping people to reach their current goals. Whether it is selling their home so that they can move on in their lives. . .or helping them find a new home. . . obtaining a mortgage broker. . . or learning the value of their home in the current market, I have sincere enthusiasm for my role in making their goals become their reality. I consider myself a goal-oriented GO-GETTER!! And working with integrity, competence, high moral standards and a spirit of fun are MY goals! My clients are my friends.

- Happily married to my wonderful eternal partner, Bob, who is my best friend and business partner. . . he's the lead teacher (and I'm the principal!) in home schooling our two daughters, Suzannah, age 13 and Julianna, age 10.
- I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Rotary Club of Anacortes-Fidalgo Island.
- Prior to becoming a Realtor, I worked as an artist, a business woman, entrepreneur, marketing specialist, educator and as an education consultant for the State of Texas.

- Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree, University of Texas
- Masters of Science Degree, Economics, North Texas State University
- And mass quantities of self improvement courses, books, tapes and a PhD from the School of Hard Knocks! (I lost my first MrS. Degree)

Why choose me as your relocation specialist? Over the past 15 years, I have moved ten times, which makes me somewhat of an expert on the subject. My husband, Tom, and I moved to Anacortes two years ago from Jacksonville, Florida and we fell in love with the town. We are both from Montana originally and wanted to get back in the Northwest. Tom will be retiring from the Navy soon so we decided to build a house and plant our roots here. We have three children, twin eight-year-olds, and an ten-year-old. The excellent reputation of the Anacortes School District is one of main reasons that brought us to Anacortes. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed exploring Fidalgo Island and all it has to offer. We love hiking and mountain biking in the endless Anacortes Forest Land trail system, camping at Washington Park, and playing on the beach at Bowman Bay. My boys have become quite proficient at catching crabs. There are many other things to do in Anacortes... kayaking, boating, fishing, golfing, and sightseeing.
Once you have decided the area where you want to live, the process of buying a home begins. My philosophy for working with buyers is simple; All they want is an easy, no hassle way of finding the home they want, in an area in which they won't regret buying, for a price they won't regret paying. They want a Realtor whom they will be comfortable referring to their family and friends, and whom they will call for all their future real estate needs. These are all things I provide.
